Workforce Investment Act Program - Career Planning
NonprofitWe offer career assistance, resume building, career development opportunities, and testing and career assessments. Eligible job seekers have access to a variety of training services, such as on-the-job training or occupational skills training when they are unable to obtain a job with their current skill set. One of the goals of the WIOA program is to support opportunities for skill upgrades for currently employed workers. We also offer a youth program, assisting school dropouts to obtain basic education, pre-employment skills, and financial literacy.

NonprofitWe facilitate a 10-module Getting Ahead incentivized class designed to help a person achieve stability and self-sufficiency. Getting Ahead class participants are considered our focus group with the purpose of helping our community alleviate poverty. This small group, kitchen table experience allows up to 15 people to investigate life issues together. In the process, individuals identify the resources and solutions they most need to get ahead.

BusinessOffers assistance to families and campus residents as they get settled on campus in the Stillwater Area. It is open to ALL students, including families. Programs that are offered at the FRC include adult programming,youth and family programming, academic programming, lending programs, English classes, referral services, and a shopping shuttle. The staff members of the FRC are there to assist you in any way possible - to answer questions, give advice, or just listen. In addition to all of these features, the FRC also publishes a monthly newsletter, and yearly calendar.
